“Hulk” Invades Las Vegas for FFC 32

Las Vegas is preparing for the arrival of “The Hulk.” Not the movie, nor the comic book hero that bears the name but rather, the MMA fighter known as Tony “Hulk” Johnson.

“Hulk” Johnson is hoping to cause tons of mass destruction when enters the Fight Dome ring on Friday , Oct. 19th.

Johnson (11-4-1) battles Shelton “Gravedigger” Graves (8-3-0) for the FFC MMA Heavyweight title in the Main Event of FFC 32.

Both fighters are what you would call “large specimens.” Johnson stands 6’1”, his opponent Graves, is 6’2” and both fighters have a typical walk-around weight of more than 265 lbs. respectively.

At the moment, Johnson is preparing for his title fight and let’s just say, he might be angry…. And you know what happens when you make “The Hulk” angry? Insert Dr. David Banner reference here.

Johnson is not pleased with the outcomes of his last two fights, a draw vs. Aleksander Emelianenko on August 18th, and a second round TKO loss to Vitaly Minakov on December 16, 2017.

As a result, Johnson has been training hard and the Nashville, TN native will be looking to take out his frustration on his opponent, Graves, on Friday night, Oct. 19 at the all-new Fight Dome at Rio Las Vegas.

Six of Johnson’s eleven wins have come by knockout and the other five were all decisions.

Johnson’s last knockout was a first round TKO against Magomedbag Agaev on June 2, 2017. That fight only lasted one minute and twenty seconds.

Johnson is definitely known for being a very tough stand up fighter but he is not afraid to go to the ground.

The city of Las Vegas may never be the same after Oct. 19th if “Hulk” is able to wreak havoc in typical “Hulk Fashion.”

“FFC 32 Graves vs. Johnson” takes place Friday night at 7 p.m. at the all-new Fight Dome at Rio Las Vegas.

The event will air on CBS Sports Network. Check your local listing for more information.
